Why Shorebird?

Every person has times of personal change and growth ~ life chapters and transitions. These can be invigorating and at the same time, difficult.

For recreation and artistic outlet, I do woodcarving; a favorite being the shorebird. It was during a time of personal growth and change that I had questions about my future goals and direction. I was pulled by both desire for new direction and yet settled into the comfort of my current circumstances.

Then, on the beach one day, a shorebird crossed my path and I stopped listening to the voices of doubt. Instead, I followed my curiosity, my intention, and I created new voices of possibility and embarked on a new path.
